Format: If needed, an explanatory Preface precedes the Summary. Small, superscript numbers refer the reader to numbered topics in the Insights and Discussion Material section. Small, superscript letters refer to the sources of particular understandings. Italicized words in parentheses are Miriam’s comments. Capitalized, bold words are main points, emphasized to facilitate presenting the Torah Portion to a group. Hebrew words and phrases are presented as: Hebrew-Transliteration-Meaning. They appear frequently, so that everyone may become familiar with the Torah personalities with their appropriate titles, and traditional terminology. Sections in red are new; they were not in previous postings of the Torah Portion. The Pocket Re-connector provides a phrase to bring to mind over the week that reminds of a brief teaching which can quickly elevate us into higher consciousness. |
